GAVH was built on a simple idea. Veterinary care doesn’t have to feel cold, clinical, or forgettable. It can feel warm, Intentional, even inspiring. So, we designed something different. A different kind of animal hospital.

We wanted to create a place where people feel comfortable asking questions.
Where pets are treated with patience and respect. And where medicine and communication go hand in hand.

We are also one of only a few small animal hospitals in the Southern California region that offer exotic veterinary care.

As a full-service hospital providing advanced medical and surgical services, we are staffed with highly trained, compassionate staff who have spent many years caring for a wide range of domestic and exotic pets. Basic wellness through advanced medical and surgical veterinary care is available 5 days a week.

The hospital features state-of-the-art equipment and technology throughout its 5,000 square feet of space.

As soon as you walk through the doors, you’ll notice GAVH is different from many other hospitals. With its entryway sputnik light, warm colors throughout, clean tiled floor, and bright orange Eames Eiffel Tower fiberglass chairs, you immediately feel the warm and relaxed environment. Our waiting room also features two 180-gallon fish tanks, a custom lizard enclosure (complete with its own eco-system), as well as a playful assortment of animal-themed books for children and adults to peruse.

And if you look really close, you will also notice a few display cases featuring rotating collections and collectibles that Dr Greek has amassed since he was a little boy. Along with a few other fun mid-century items thrown in now and again.
